2025 Seniors:

Wendy Adams

I have been dancing for 13 years. My first eight years were in a smaller studio, which I learned a lot from but I truly flourished and came to know my style of dance and my confidence through Styles Dance Centre, my instructors, and Miss Alyssa. Alyssa was actually there for me before I was even a Styles Dance student. I had somehow misplaced my dance costume for recital while at the other studio and didn’t get very much help from my instructor on what to do. Alyssa ordered me the costume and made sure I had it in time for recital. I’ve always respected her for that and that was my decision making on me coming to Styles- was a teacher that cared about someone who wasn’t even her student yet.
I plan to go to University of Nebraska Kearny to get my degree in elementary education. I have so many memories from SDC and have grown so much in my confidence and style of dancing. My favorite memories will always be getting to dance in the parades with everyone in class. I really just want to thank all the teachers I’ve had to get me to this point. As well as my mom and dad for always taking me to classes or practices and watching me at everything. Lastly I wanna give a big thank you to Miss Alyssa for helping me with any problems I came to her with even when I wasn’t her student quite yet!

Mackenzie Berry

I’ve been a dancer at Styles Dance Centre since I was three years old, and I began competing at the age of six. Over the years, dance has become such an important part of who I am. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to grow up doing what I love, surrounded by some of my favorite people. The experiences I've had and the lessons I’ve learned through dance are things I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
Dance has shaped me—not only into the dancer I am today, but also into the person I’ve become. I want to especially thank Alyssa for always believing in me, even when I struggled to believe in myself. Your support has helped me find a confidence I never thought possible. Thank you to Johnae, Macey, Barb, Brooke, and everyone else who has played a role in my journey—you are all deeply appreciated.
As I prepare for the next chapter, I plan to attend Fort Hays State University to pursue a career as a registered nurse. I’m excited to see where life takes me, but I’ll always carry the memories and lessons from Styles with me. Thank you all for being such an important part of my life.

Alli Dreiling

As long as I can remember dance has been a huge part of my life. I started dance when I was 2 and competing when I was 6. Dance has taught me grace, balance, beauty, strength, and confidence while on stage, as well as other more important traits that I carry off of the dance floor. The level I am at in dance took hard work and dedication, but it always feels worth it when I step out on stage with my friends. I love my teammates because at the end of a competition, win or lose, we are still a team and will always support and love one another. Resilience and work ethic have been drilled into me in the 14 years I’ve spent with SDC. Competing has taught me to always strive for more while also finding peace in my hard work. Aside from dance itself another huge part of my time with SDC was having the opportunity to teach. I used to watch my teachers and dream of being admired like them and having an impact on young kids and that is something SDC has given me. Teaching for the past 5 years has been a dream come true and I’m so honored to be remembered as Miss Alli. The amazing teachers, teammates, and students I spent time with at SDC will be the hardest to leave behind. Moving on will be hard, but every lesson learned I will continue to carry with me throughout life. This fall I plan to attend Kansas State University and major in Biology. I love you my SDC family! Go Cats!!

Willow Melvin

Since the age of 5 I have gotten the privilege of being a Styles Dance Centre dancer. From the outside looking in, it may seem as though dance is just another extracurricular. However for me, it has been what I’ve dedicated most of my time to, what has given me the strongest friendships and best memories. Over my 13 years of dancing, I’ve had a lot of extremely special memories, the sweetest of them all has come this year. Getting to dance with my younger sister is a joy, but getting to have a duo with her this year has been the honor of my life. Our duo truly encapsulates sisterhood and the love we have for each other. Styles is a family, and I am so lucky I have gotten to be a part of it. Alyssa, thank you for seeing me and loving me through it all, I will forever be grateful for you. SDC Family, I am proud to say I have gotten to spend so much time with this studio, it truly is the people that make the place. Lastly, to my family, thank you for supporting me through the highs and lows, I love you all! I am sad that this chapter of life is coming to a close, but so excited to be graduating cosmetology school this August and moving onto the professional salon.

Kaley Phelps

Styles Dance Centre has been so much more than just a studio to me; it has been my second home, my safe place, and the foundation of so many unforgettable memories. From the moment I joined, I was welcomed into a community that pushed me to grow not only as a dancer but also as a person. I have learned the value of hard work, resilience, and true friendship through every rehearsal, performance, and competition. The teachers and teammates I’ve been blessed with have shaped me into someone who believes in herself and strives to give her all, both on and off the stage. I plan to pursue a degree in sports and Exercise Therapy at Fort Hays State University with the goal of becoming a physical therapist, I carry with me all the lessons, laughter, and love that Styles has poured into me over the years. I am endlessly thankful for every person who has been part of this journey. You have given me more than just dance, you have given me family. Most of all I want to thank my mom and Jeff for always sticking by me and supporting me through it all. I love you.

Macara Rohr

I have been a member of Styles Dance Center for 13 years. Dance has become more than just a part of my life—it has shaped who I am. From countless rehearsals to traveling for competitions, my experiences have taught me the value of dedication, resilience, and the joy of expressing myself through movement. Being on stage is where I feel most like myself—the spotlight hits, the music starts, and all that matters is the story I get to tell through dance. Getting to do this for years has pushed me outside of my comfort zone and helped me grow, not just as a dancer, but as a person. One of my most meaningful experiences was helping with the “Dancing Together for DSNWK” fundraiser. I had the opportunity to teach and perform with those individuals, and seeing the joy on their faces, along with the relationship outside of the studio with them, reminded me just how powerful this form of art can be. It fueled my passion to continue sharing this art form with others. This coming fall, I plan to attend the Theater Arts Preparatory School in Las Vegas to continue my training and pursue my dreams. I hope to perform on bigger stages, travel the world, and meet people who share the same love for dance. Styles Dance Center has been more than a studio—it’s been my second home, and I’ll always be grateful for the memories, the growth, and the lifelong friendships I’ve made there.

Reaghan Wamser

After fifteen incredible years of dance, this journey comes to a close. From my very first tiny costume to my final solo, SDC shaped me into the person I am today. Thank you to my teachers for pushing me, believing in me, and giving me a second home. To my babies, I loved every moment teaching you. Watching you grow and light up on stage reminded me why I fell in love with dance in the first place. And to my teammates, thank you for the laughs, the hugs, and the memories I’ll always hold close. Though the stage lights may fade, the love I have for dance will never disappear. Each competition, recital, and KidsRock performance gave me moments I’ll never forget. From quick costume changes and late-night rehearsals to pep talks in the dressing room and cheering each other on in the wings, every experience helped me grow. I’ve built friendships that feel more like family and collected memories I will carry with me forever. Dance taught me discipline, confidence, resilience, and how to carry myself with grace in and out of the studio. This fall I will attend Fort Hays State University to pursue a degree in nursing. Though I may hang up my dance shoes, the lessons I’ve learned on the marley floor will stay with me forever. SDC taught me how to lead with kindness, how to work hard for what I love, and how to express myself without saying a word. Thank you to Alyssa and all of SDC for these amazing years. I would never go back and change a thing. This studio gave me more than just training—it gave me a place to belong.
