Styles Dance Centre has grown from humble beginnings to become the largest dance studio in Hays in a short time, offering both recreational and competitive dance at an affordable price. We appreciate each and every one of our students and strive to help them achieve their dreams. SDC training has helped dancers get more than just trophies, they have won college scholarships for dance, and even went on to work professionally in dance including for Disney Parks.

Jenna Kisner

I began dance at SDC at 5 years old, I then started competing my freshman year of high school. Starting competition dance so late presented a lot of challenges, like my zero knowledge of ballet and horrible technique. But, I loved it anyway. Dance has provided me a way to perform and form friendships I would not have experienced otherwise.
My favorite part has always been conveying emotions through my dance. Throughout these past four years, I’ve learned the value of dedication and hard work. More than anything else in my life, dance has shown me how far effort and giving it your all can get you. I’m extremely appreciative to the girls who sought me out and provided friendship, as I never would have imagined in those first few years how much I will miss you all. The teachers at SDC have all shown me incredible kindness and dedication to their craft. I will greatly miss everything and everyone from SDC next year, when I plan to attend KU with a major in exercise science on the pre-physical therapy track.

McKenna Gardner

Growing up, I was the little girl who always dressed up and danced around in a pink tutu, but as I got older it meant more to me! I always looked forward to dance every week. It became my escape, my passion, and my second home. This studio isn’t just a place where I learned choreography; it’s a place where I learned true friendship, confidence, and how to express myself without even saying a word.The last four years, SDC has opened its arms and accepted me as part of their family.
During my time at SDC, I’ve had so many amazing teachers. Thank you for believing in me, even on the days when I didn’t believe in myself. You pushed me to be better—not just as a dancer, but as a person. Your patience, encouragement, and dedication have shaped who I am today, and I will carry that with me wherever I go.
I’ve also made so many amazing friends. Thank you for all the time we’ve spent together. You’ve seen me at my best and my worst, yet you loved me through all of it. I will forever cherish all the memories we’ve made together—all the TikToks, all the gas station trips, every inside joke, and every moment that brought us closer.
Thank you to my family for dealing with all my attitudes, all the late nights, and my favorite—every 7Brew stop I had to make.
Next year I will be attending Colby Community College to major in nursing.

I began dance at SDC at 5 years old, I then started competing my freshman year of high school. Starting competition dance so late presented a lot of challenges, like my zero knowledge of ballet and horrible technique. But, I loved it anyway. Dance has provided me a way to perform and form friendships I would not have experienced otherwise.
My favorite part has always been conveying emotions through my dance. Throughout these past four years, I’ve learned the value of dedication and hard work. More than anything else in my life, dance has shown me how far effort and giving it your all can get you. I’m extremely appreciative to the girls who sought me out and provided friendship, as I never would have imagined in those first few years how much I will miss you all. The teachers at SDC have all shown me incredible kindness and dedication to their craft. I will greatly miss everything and everyone from SDC next year, when I plan to attend KU with a major in exercise science on the pre-physical therapy track.

McKenna Gardner

Growing up, I was the little girl who always dressed up and danced around in a pink tutu, but as I got older it meant more to me! I always looked forward to dance every week. It became my escape, my passion, and my second home. This studio isn’t just a place where I learned choreography; it’s a place where I learned true friendship, confidence, and how to express myself without even saying a word.The last four years, SDC has opened its arms and accepted me as part of their family.
During my time at SDC, I’ve had so many amazing teachers. Thank you for believing in me, even on the days when I didn’t believe in myself. You pushed me to be better—not just as a dancer, but as a person. Your patience, encouragement, and dedication have shaped who I am today, and I will carry that with me wherever I go.
I’ve also made so many amazing friends. Thank you for all the time we’ve spent together. You’ve seen me at my best and my worst, yet you loved me through all of it. I will forever cherish all the memories we’ve made together—all the TikToks, all the gas station trips, every inside joke, and every moment that brought us closer.
Thank you to my family for dealing with all my attitudes, all the late nights, and my favorite—every 7Brew stop I had to make.
Next year I will be attending Colby Community College to major in nursing.

I began dance at SDC at 5 years old, I then started competing my freshman year of high school. Starting competition dance so late presented a lot of challenges, like my zero knowledge of ballet and horrible technique. But, I loved it anyway. Dance has provided me a way to perform and form friendships I would not have experienced otherwise.
My favorite part has always been conveying emotions through my dance. Throughout these past four years, I’ve learned the value of dedication and hard work. More than anything else in my life, dance has shown me how far effort and giving it your all can get you. I’m extremely appreciative to the girls who sought me out and provided friendship, as I never would have imagined in those first few years how much I will miss you all. The teachers at SDC have all shown me incredible kindness and dedication to their craft. I will greatly miss everything and everyone from SDC next year, when I plan to attend KU with a major in exercise science on the pre-physical therapy track.

Growing up, I was the little girl who always dressed up and danced around in a pink tutu, but as I got older it meant more to me! I always looked forward to dance every week. It became my escape, my passion, and my second home. This studio isn’t just a place where I learned choreography; it’s a place where I learned true friendship, confidence, and how to express myself without even saying a word.The last four years, SDC has opened its arms and accepted me as part of their family.
During my time at SDC, I’ve had so many amazing teachers. Thank you for believing in me, even on the days when I didn’t believe in myself. You pushed me to be better—not just as a dancer, but as a person. Your patience, encouragement, and dedication have shaped who I am today, and I will carry that with me wherever I go.
I’ve also made so many amazing friends. Thank you for all the time we’ve spent together. You’ve seen me at my best and my worst, yet you loved me through all of it. I will forever cherish all the memories we’ve made together—all the TikToks, all the gas station trips, every inside joke, and every moment that brought us closer.
Thank you to my family for dealing with all my attitudes, all the late nights, and my favorite—every 7Brew stop I had to make.
Next year I will be attending Colby Community College to major in nursing.
